Hard cross between Gustavo Petro, General Zapateiro
Gustavo Petro's trill triggered tension between the presidential candidate and general Eduardo Enrique Zapateiro the commander, on social media. Petro wrote in the post, "Some Clan officers are on their payroll."

The message prompted the Army commander to react, and he , in six trills confronted the presidential candidate on the statement.

General Zapateiro declared that "no one is more hurt than those who wear camouflage and their families and the country they live in However, their greatest sacrifice for their country should never be used in political campaigns to justify their actions."

One of the most controversial statements from the top official is that Colombians have witnessed the current presidential candidate getting money "in the trash bag".

"I have never seen a general appear on television receiving ill-gotten money. General Zapateiro stated that Colombians had seen him receive money from the garbage bag.

In closing the official's statement, he wrote "to the oldest group in this country, which members, men, and women, have steadfastly upheld the democratic system and this nation for more than two centuries, and even offered their lives for the cause, I demand that you be respected."
