Tokayev is also a fervent proponent of the West and has established commercial relations with other countries. He has not attempted to sever ties with Putin and has kept his support. This delicate balance may be upset by Kazykhanov.

Although the West could not have averted this European crisis had they taken action earlier than they did, they must admit they are to blame.
