Hashes in Satoshi's whitepaper: " "mining" "
Hash algorithms. List of cryptographic hash functions.
A cryptographic hash function is a special type of symmetric algorithm, specifically designed for the single purpose of calculating the content of a block. The output size of the hash function is fixed at 256 bits. The hash function has the property that given a message and the hash function, it is computationally infeasible to find a different message that produces the same hash. The process of generating a hash is called hashing.
Blockchain explorers
A blockchain explorer is a tool for inspecting the contents of the blockchain. These visualizations are often generated by software running on the same computer used to view the blockchain. There are many block explorers available online.

Blockchain transaction tracking
A transaction is a transfer of value from one party to another. Each transaction provides a ledger entry that tracks where the transaction came from, and where it went. A transaction output identifies a destination address.
The transaction outcome (more commonly referred to as the transaction's "output" or sometimes as the "hash of the transaction") is a hash of the entire transaction, including the amount being sent, the sender, the recipient, and a short message that proves that the transaction has taken place and records where the output was sent. The transaction is done when both the sender and the recipient have completed signing the transaction input values. All the transactions are put together to form a chain.
History of block structure
Since the first publication of the bitcoin protocol, developers have modified its core rules in order to improve the properties of the resulting system. Each version of bitcoin uses a different rule set to maintain the integrity of the chain of blocks.
Block structure in bitcoin 0.0.1
In October 2008, a bitcoin transaction was introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto (registration and statement of authorship delayed until April 2014).
Satoshi's initial design specified a minimum target size of 1 MB for the initial block (version 0.0.1) and thereafter a limit of 8 MB. https://online-loan-sri-lanka.com/ The idea was that miners would not be able to join the network with inadequate disk space for the full history of blocks. Satoshi's intent was to have the blocks grow over time; this was codified in a 2008 email where Satoshi suggests a 1 MB block limit and a target of 10 GB per year. Ultimately, Satoshi
