Yes, I said that.. My kids are terrible at thisthat they believe the that the WiFi at the top of the mountain is weak.. It's only a small hill. It's just above the typical network range. So my kids have to search for better internet connections while my wife and I have set up a small camping area. This is a great place for us to spend a few days. There's a stream close by that supplies fresh water although there's no water available. Yes.. My wife can't camp without water. So we always bring our own.

So my kids are back on their social networks, while I am admiring the view.. The hill isn't that big, it's surrounded by more massive ones. It is a hill we visit once in a while to get closer to Mother Earth. Only I really enjoy these trips, though I'm not the one who initiates. My wife insists on doing it, perhaps partly because she is aware of how much I love being out there in the wild. My kids are a completely different story. Internet is sometimes unavailable. The stream can be disrupted by something in the cloud, or by other magnetic movements for up to a minute before it is restored. This can be quite annoying to me, cause I tend to hear the entire thing..

After a few days without Wi-Fi, and with the normal internet on our smartphones constantly going out of service It was evident that we had to be prepared. We, which includes my wife and I, decided to plan to be prepared for the event that our children won't have internet for more then 10 minutes.
