Duel adalah praktek
dalam budaya sihir
dimana dua atau lebih
penyihir dalam satu
pertempuran
menggunakan mantra
dan alat sihir (wand). Di
dalam duel, kedua
penyihir saling
berhadapan,
membungkuk dan
kemudian beradu
mantra. Yang harus
dilakukan agar dapat
menang dalam duel ini
adalah melukai si lawan.
Untuk di Asrama
Hogwarts, duel
menggunakan turn-
based strategy, yang
artinya adalah
melempar mantra
secara bergantian
dengan memperhatikan
nyawa dan tenaga yang
dimiliki kita maupun
lawan.
Di dalam duel terdapat 2
istilah, yaitu:
1. HP (Health Point) =
nyawa
2. MP (Magic Point) =
tenaga
Setiap mantra biasanya
akan mengurangi MP
penyerang dan juga HP
lawan. Tetapi ada juga
mantra yang
mengurangi MP
sekaligus HP si
penyerang, seperti
Alarte Ascendare.
Dalam duel terdapat
3rules, yaitu:
1) Grade1 hanya bisa
memakai mantra untuk
Grade1 ; Grade2 dapat
memakai mantra Grade1
dan Grade2 ; dan
seterusnya. Jadi bisa
dibilang Grade yang
lebih kecil tidak dapat
memakai mantra Grade
yang lebih tinggi.
2) Pada turn ke 3,6,9,
seterusnya +2MP
3) Untuk turn ke 2 juga
+2MP
Ini list mantra per
grade.
Grade 1 : hp/mp (25/15)

-2MP PN -3HP YDS
Locomotor Mortis: -4MP
PN -5HP YDS
Petrificus Totalus:
-6MP PN -7HPYDS
Wingardium Leviosa:
-3HP -2MP PN -6HP YDS
