What are the best Minecraft cities? Minecraft is full of jaw dropping builds It's one of the most popular building games, and it seems that the community's creativity is no boundaries. Many Minecraft cities have been popping up, available to anyone to download and explore.



Creators have bought their favourite shows movies, games, and games to life through incredible Minecraft creations, such as the Minecraft Hogwarts map, The Titanic and even a recreation of Lord of the Rings' Middle-earth. It's not surprising that some of the most iconic pop-culture cities such as Gotham and King's Landing are now available to explore in Minecraft.

Mattupolis



Mattupolis is a continuously expanding stream of skyscrapers, and intricately designed and bustling streets. Matias Mattupolis, the designer is influenced by Seattle and Vancouver and aims to link urban environments with the natural landscape. Mattupolis is a city of high-rise buildings, distinct districts, and landmarks that you can admire such as the Seattle Space Needle.



Greenfield



Greenfield by The Jestr is one of the biggest cities in Minecraft and one of the biggest too. You can spend ages wandering through the various areas from the financial district to the port that is brimming with containers. There's incredible city details in Greenfield from cramped residential houses and a towering crane skyline, and a maze of trains.



King's Landing



This King's Landing map from WesterosCraft can be used to recreate the city that hosts Game of Thrones. It includes all the landmarks you'd expect from The Great Sept of Baelor and The Red Keep. It is now possible to walk the streets of King's Landing with none of the bloodshed and violence that the show is known for.



The Novigrad-inspired town of ElysiumFire might not be the smooth urban sprawl of other Minecraft cities in this list however, with its stunning architecture, narrow alleyways, and medieval red-roofed structures, it's still a glorious view to see in a blocky vision. Novigrad is a homage to The Witcher 3, although it's not exactly a replica, but it does capture the vibrancy and medieval feel of the sprawling fishing village, with the cathedral and port.

This modern japanese city has been under construction for a while and has been the most widely talked about Minecraft city due to its awe-inspiring attention to details. SayamaCityProject first released images of Sayama City. We were astonished by its realism and how it captures the beauty of Japanese cities, including Osaka and Tokyo.
