It's unlikely that Minecraft will be able to meet its August release window on PS4 after it did not pass Sony's certification tests. This means that it's back to the fixing board for 4J Studios, and the team will need to submit the game for certification before it is released.
4J has been working hard to fix bugs and fixing issues throughout the month. This isn't only for the PS4 version as well as for the Xbox One/Vita releases. We have reached out to the studio to confirm the delay and find out if it would impact the PS4 version only or the other platforms. The three ports are scheduled to be released this month.
