Minecraft Dungeons is currently on its way to consoles and PC, albeit a bit longer than we expected. Mojang confirms that the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler sequel will launch on the 26th of May on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as announced during the last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.
The studio owned by Microsoft originally planned to release Minecraft Dungeons in April, however, due to coronavirus-related concerns "this was not possible anymore. - Minecraft Dungeons (@dungeonsgame), March 31 2020 Mojang also revealed a few details about the game, including that it will feature cross-platform multiplayer with an upcoming patch. You can team up with three players online or in local co-op modes. The missions mix procedurally generated elements and fixed ones which keep the game fresh each time you play while still preserving the narrative and goals.
Minecraft Dungeons will be available in two versions. The standard edition priced at $20 will be available in two variations. A $30 hero edition will come with cosmetic items as well as access to the DLC packs.
