You've probably seen the Deeper Connect Nano. Now take a look at its smaller sister, the Deeper Connect Pico (opens in new tab). The Pico as well as its larger brother was made possible by millions of dollars raised via Kickstarter and Indiegogo earlier this year. Now it's available for everyone. It comes with the same plug-and- play setup as the previous model, but is smaller dimensions.
Deeper Network claims that the Pico is the most compact lightweight, light-weight, small and powerful cybersecurity hardware device available. It incorporates an enterprise-grade firewall and the decentralized VPN (DPN) inside its compact frame, all for less than the Nano.
The only thing that made Deeper Connect Nano difficult to carry was the hassle of having it with you. The Pico almost eliminates that problem with a brand new design that's just over 3 inches long and an inch wide. It is lightweight at 0.11 pounds, which means it can be carried anywhere you go. The Pico comes with an included WiFi adapter, meaning you can access a secure and fast private network at any time and from anywhere, whether at home or stuck at the airport during the time of a layover. You can also plug the Pico directly into your router with the included cables. This will allow you to create your own internet connection.
The Deeper Network is a decentralized private network (DPN) which means you have more control over encrypted data. There aren't any central servers, so it ultimately creates a free internet in which no single entity controls the network on which the device is running.
Some users have complained that the bandwidth and speed aren't the best in the industry. However, the extra time to load isn't significant considering that you only pay once for this device.
