Uranium is a fascinating element, as it has the highest atomic weight among naturally occurring elements. However, it's also radioactive, which you'll be aware of as being dangerous.

Redstone also contains more than a third unknown elements. It could be that Mojang simply would like to ensure that people don't recreate it in real life, even if there's been some attempts it could also be because Mojang knows about elements that scientists don't. We won't be worried about it.
