Minecraft mods can do quite a bit nowadays but some of the most innovative ones include some new features. Some let you view the world for a long time, some allow you to race around in Mario Karts, and some transform the game into Elden Ring. The Mi Alliance mod, however is completely different and it's amazing.
The Mi Alliance: Invasion! mod was released back in June however, it's been updated steadily since then to help iron out the kinks, and to add new features. This Minecraft mod adds new enemies, dubbed the Mi Alliance.
The Mi Alliance, aside from sounding like old-school Worms characters in their appearance it is actually quite powerful. For starters, they're more than content to construct their own structures, which is odd enough on its own. They are also smarter than the majority of Minecraft mobs and can roam across the globe in groups that are ready to fight anyone they meet. You can watch them in action in the first trailer for the mod.
You're not expected to take down these threats on your own though, and you can actually build your own Mi Alliance and have them fight on your behalf with you. The mod's 2.0 update was released this week (July 18 the 18th of July, 2018). It includes more enemies, weapons, ores, and more. You can even ride on exclusive vehicles and explore new ruin sites.
It's an extremely ambitious mod that makes Minecraft feel new again for long-time players. If updates keep coming at the same rate you can expect it to become something truly remarkable over the next few months.
