YouTube video production team The Farlanders created a special save file for the PC version of Minecraft that provides a brand new, more claustrophobic spin on the blocky survival game. It's called "Captive Minecraft," the modified game spawns players into an enclosed 1x1-sized block in the game's world. The world grows as players earn achievements through activities like looking through their inventory, gathering wood from trees, or creating things like furnaces and workbenches.
Beta version 1.3 of Captive Minecraft was launched by the Farlanders today. What’s the worst that could happen It adds more gold ore to Minecraft and less on the Nether regions for sugar cane. To install Captive Minecraft, players simply have to download the world save from the spin-off's website. It requires Minecraft 1.8 and snapshot 14w18b and later.
