Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

He said, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from America, which is already exceeding or even surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entry every month. It's a fantastic positive change that we are very happy about and anticipate an upward trajectory for many months to come."

Canada, which has 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn't too far from the United States.

"We are not far off our record numbers for 2019 and we anticipate that this increase in the number of travelers to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians remain at ease traveling internationally."
