Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of travelers from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

We're not too far away from our record numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this growth in Israel travel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more comfortable travelling abroad."

Israel welcomed more tourists from around the world in 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were American. Israel's official opening for travellers from May 2018. Israel has received more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
