Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

We are thrilled to see this shift and are expecting an upward trend that will continue for months or even years.

Canada, which has 7,200 visitors in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, isn't far from the United States.

We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this growth in travel to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more at home abroad.

Israel received more visitors from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of them were Americans. Israel's official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has been home to over 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
