Minecraft's Mangrove Restoration Project Map is all About Activism

Minecraft is an area where everything is possible. It's among the most impressive examples of what sandbox games are capable of since people utilize it to play in countless different ways. It is used by some to develop their favorite games, others to create new features in in-game systems, while others simply love building amazing things.



There are also a lot of cool downloadable maps, and one of the most fascinating of them is The Mangrove Restoration Project by Everbloom Games. rabbitfest Everbloom Games makes a lot of maps, but this one is much more eco friendly. The map asks players to save mangrove forests across the globe and to plant new trees.

You have to make use of a monitor to keep an eye on the CO2 levels as well. The more you improve the climate of the planet by planting more trees and wildlife habitats, the more wildlife is brought back to the area. The map is filled with a number of wildlife species that are unique and gorgeous kayaks. It also focuses on how we can positively impact our environment. While it's not as exciting as actually going out into the world and doing some good, it's a great method to educate children about how we can try and make a difference for the planet.



The map, dubbed Rooted Together is available for download here. It is a major component of the collaboration with The Nature Conservancy Mojang, which has them donating $200,000 and some stream of charity coming later in the summer. It's refreshing to know that this initiative goes beyond an app to use.
