When the PlayStation Network is next updated players playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 3 will find two new skin packs to purchase. GAMES One features koalas and cavemen, while the other focuses on the most well-known characters of the PlayStation 3.
According to the PlayStation.blog website, the Battle And Beasts skin pack will allow players to dress up as cavemen, koala bears an ocotopus, or a particularly angular Cleopatra. The "Skin Pack 1" pack is for "hardcore PlayStation gamers" and features Minecraft versions Uncharted with the lead characters Nathan Drake and Sly Cooper. It also includes "some Killzone dudes" and "folks of Heavy Rain". We'd love to know more about the characters who will represent Heavy Rain and Killzone. However, neither Minecraft creator Mojang nor Sony can provide further information.
Also missing from the announcement are the pricing points which will be affixed to those two DLC skin packs, however the region of Sony fans will be happy to know that Skin Pack 1 is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 incarnation of Minecraft. [Image: Mojang]
