NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from America. Israel welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

He said, "It's so exciting to witness a further increase of tourism to Israel from the United States, and already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States has been our largest destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.
