Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.


Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. "It is thrilling to once again witness an increase in tourism Israel from the United States. Already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking figure of the year 2019," he stated. "The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 epidemic that was in the news, we had record-breaking tourist entry numbers every month.
