NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States has been the most important market for Israel's tourism inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we had record numbers of Israel's tourism entry every month.
In line with in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourism numbers in Israel with 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6000 in August.
