Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries each month.

Canada is on track to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that "it's amazing to see how tourism in Canada is recovering." We're still not far from our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this growth in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable traveling internationally."
