NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was thrilling to witness a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019, he said. "The United States has been our most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record numbers of Israel's tourism entry each month.
Canada is home to 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August is not much behind the United States.

We are close to our record numbers for 2019, and we are anticipating that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable at ease in Israel.
Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 were of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May has seen more than 600,000.
