NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before.
Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is our top destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. נווה פריצקי Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are thrilled to see such a positive shift and expect this trend to last throughout the months and years to come."
נווה פריצקי Just like in the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing its tourist arrivals in Israel by 7,200 tourists in July 2022 , and 6000 in August.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We aren't too far from our record numbers for 2019 and we anticipate that this growth in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians remain comfortable travelling abroad."
Israel hosted more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019 of which 969,600 were from the United States. Since May that year, when Israel is now open to all tourists regardless of vaccination status over 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
