Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a four percent increase over 2019, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019, he added. "The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism. Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August saw 6,000.
