Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He stated, "It's so exciting to witness a further increase of tourism to Israel from the United States, and already exceeding or even surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States has been our most important market for Israel's tourism inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had record number of Israeli tourism entries each month.

Canada is also on track, as the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August saw 6,000.
