NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

He stated, "It's so exciting to once more see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, which is already exceeding or even surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic there was a record-breaking number of tourism numbers each month. We are delighted to witness this change and are expecting an upward trend that will continue for months and even years.
