Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry The Numbers Come From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to see the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019 he stated. "The United States is our top destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are so happy to see such a positive shift, and we anticipate it to continue for many months and years."

נווה פריצקי Canada which isn't too far from that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass its tourist arrivals to Israel. It had 7,200 visitors in July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in August.

"We aren't far off our record 2019 and we are anticipating that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more confident traveling internationally."


Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May saw more than 600,000.
