What is the Thai Lottery?
The official national lottery of Thailand is run by the Government Lottery Office and is drawn twice a month. It is one of two forms of legal gambling in the country. The lottery is popular with tourists and locals alike, as it is one of the safest forms of gambling around. Unlike many other countries, the Thai lottery is not illegal.

To claim your prize, you must present your winning ticket, Thai ID card, and passport to the lottery agent. You will need to pay a small amount of tax to your local agent. Thai lottery tickets cost between two and five baht. If you are winning a prize of less than 20,000 baht, you can claim your prize in cash.

The revenue from the lottery is split among several sectors. เลขสายทหาร of it goes to prizes, while 20% goes to the Thai government and street vendors. The rest is spent on administrative expenses and sales. After three draws, officials will remove the balls from the machines so all ten numbers are visible. In หวยสายทหาร , a random guest will pick the balls that will be drawn for each draw.

The results will be released shortly after the draws. However, sometimes the results are delayed. So, you might have to wait a few days or even weeks to see if you're a winner. Keep เลขสายทหาร out for the winning numbers and the winners list. There is also an official website that you can visit to find the winning numbers.

The chances of winning the top prize are one in one million, but the odds depend on the amount of tickets sold. If you are lucky enough to buy a winning ticket, you could win one of the two million baht top prizes. The TGL tickets are worth two million bahts each, while the TCL tickets have a top prize of three million baht. The other nine prize tiers are the same for both types of tickets.

However, the lottery has been the object of protests. Many activists protested its use of profits by dictators. One of the most notable events involved the burning down of the GLO headquarters building in 1973. Luang Pu Buddha Issara, a politically active monk, led a group of farmers to the GLO building to demand that government use the lottery's profits to pay farmers.
