Minecraft has had its share of real-world crossovers, however there's nothing quite like this. Norway's annual The Gathering technology conference will present a live show tonight at 9PM local time (4PM Eastern). Volunteers will be mimicking the characters from Minecraft as they walk around the stage. This isn't a small production. AlunaGeorge Broiler, Lemaitre and Broiler are all in attendance to perform, so you can anticipate to have a lot of fun regardless of whether you're watching real artists or their pixelated avatars.
OFFTOPICHUT
It's not going to be in a position to recreate the experience of the real thing, but it might provide an intimate feel than watching a video. Just be aware that this will also mean that there is a limited amount of space. The organizers note that there should only be enough space for around two to three thousand people and you should hop on the Minecraft server as soon as you can (if you're reading this at this the morning) to have a chance to see what all the controversy is about.
