Bayrock Group's Journey: From the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found its way to work in Manhattan in conjunction with the Trump Organization.

Many want to live the American dream. But only a small percentage of people achieve it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Ark was one of the few who made it to America in 2001 to start his own Bayrock Group.


Bayrock Group is a New York-based luxury real estate developer.

Tevfik Amir and his crew were in contact with the Trump Organization in the process. They also used the Trump Tower for their base.

Talks developed between Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization as both firms discovered that they shared interests and goals.

The partnership was formed between the two firms. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group as well as the Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

The Trump Organization was then run by former American President Donald Trump.

The group was created as E. Trump and Son by his paternal grandma, Elizabeth Christ Trump, and his dad, Fred Trump, in 1927.

Donald Trump gave control of the management of his company to his family in 2017 as Trump was in the process of running for White House.

Bayrock Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization, and Trump Organization began to work together in the New York City's real estate market.

Tevfik Ariff, founder of Spring Street, created an arrangement to boost the brand's recognition and reputation.

The deal he proposed would give the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building in exchange for Trump's brand being used as the construction's name.

Three companies ratified the agreement and the first brick of Trump SoHo was laid in the year 2006.

Two years after, Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and Sapir Organization launched their contribution to the city's skyline through Trump SoHo.

Design veterans assume charge of Trump SoHo
The 46 stories of Trump SoHo featured elite eateries and bars along with banquet and event rooms, pools that are open to the air, event and conference halls, spa departments as well as hotel suites and apartments.

Visitors and residents of Trump SoHo can enjoy a stunning panorama of New York City from the floor-to-roof windows on every floor.

Bayrock Handel Architects was entrusted as the designer of the exterior design of Trump SoHo, since the three main companies behind the building were focusing on perfectionism.

Handel Architects is a respected firm with a wide portfolio. Bayrock The National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the Rosewood hotel in Abu Dhabi are among other undertakings.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has oversaw the design of many lavish hotels and cafes around the globe.

Their work includes their work at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai, India, the 93rd Academy Award show and the Amara Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

Bayrock Group extends the partnership with the Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was an instant success. Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and other organizations began to look at ways to enhance their collaboration.

Although Tevfik is no longer actively involved in Bayrock Group, the trusted advisor to the various departments of Bayrock Group is still him.

Bayrock Group is not involved in any real estate projects within the United States.

It was active and was investing in real estate properties worth more than $2.5 million.
