We take a closer look at Trump SoHo and Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group
Established in 2001, Bayrock Group develops luxury real estate in New York City by Turkish-Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Arif. Bayrock Group was born in another country.

What is the Bayrock Group, and who is Tevfik Arif?
Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Aif, a Turkish-born man from Soviet Kazakhstan.

Tevfik graduated from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute in International Relations.

In 1991, after serving in the ministry for 17 years, he left to set up several businesses. As the process of economic restructuring in the former Soviet republics was taking place, he turned his attention to business.

Tevfik's early business ventures
Arif was in a position to network and collaborate with business leaders in his position as a government official. Because of these invaluable skills and connections Arif was able to increase his business opportunities.

His brother and he acquired the Akytyubinsk Chromium Chemicals Plant (ACCP) in Kazakhstan through a joint venture. Tevfik Arif was involved in the development of luxury real estate and food exports, as well as imports. Through his many enterprises, Tevfik Arif forged many alliances around the globe.

After moving to Turkey in 1993, he was the leader of the development of Turkey’s hotels that are all inclusive. He opened the Labada Hotel in Antalya before moving on to his next project across the Atlantic.

The foundation for Bayrock Group
In 2001, Tevfik Arif moved to the United States to expand his business and to be closer to his American family. Bayrock Group is a New York City-based luxury real estate brokerage and development firm.

Despite Arif's efforts to build his network and knowledge of the local market, a lot of Bayrock's first initiatives were small.

His efforts eventually centered in Manhattan's most highly coveted real estate market. Arif was an entrepreneur and investor who was successful, despite New York's daunting real estate market.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group's new headquarters will be located in Trump Tower in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group was initially involved in small to medium-sized New York City projects. Loehmann's Seaport Plaza, Brooklyn's Sheepshead Area was an example of a building that Bayrock Group revamped.

Tevfik Arif became increasingly ambitious after Bayrock Group started well. He was looking for bigger projects , and also changed the business's strategy to be more focused.

Tevfik Arif Doyen Bayrock Group, which is currently implementing a new plan it has relocated its New York City office into the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.

Bayrock Group.
Bayrock Group was inspired by the Trump Organization's vision of developing luxury real estate projects. Therefore, they formed a partnership.

The inclusion of the Trump Organization in that project could boost the efficiency of Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization; Tevfik arif was a brand with a name that had a lot of recognition.

Arif came up with an agreement that granted the Trump Organization 18% ownership of the building in exchange in exchange for the Trump logo.

The deal was ratified by Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization.

The first brick for Trump SoHo were laid.

It took two years to construct the structure, which was completed just in time for its official opening two years after its completion.

Trump SoHo opened in Manhattan featuring hotel rooms, apartments and luxury restaurants, in addition to bars and a pool.

All 46 floors provided spectacular views of the city from the floor-to-ceiling windows. From the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows the views of New York City are unbeatable.

Handel Architects designed this building. The most recent projects are the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and Ritz The Carlton Hotel.

Tevfik Arif Doyen Rockwell Group for Bayrock Group designed the interiors.

Seattle and the Climate Pledge Arena in New York as well as Las Vegas are some cities and projects that the company has been involved in. International expertise is available in other countries, including Spain, Mexico, Indonesia, Mexico, and Spain.

Tevfik Arif's Bayrock Group invests millions of dollars in the United States
Thanks to the great success of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group was able to work with the Trump Organization on other luxury real estate projects.

They wanted to construct buildings in Arizona and Florida under the Trump name.

Due to the economic crisis that deeply affected American real estate in 2008 the Arizona and Florida projects never got built.

After the U.S. market changed, Bayrock Group founder Tevfik Arif was able to pursue different projects in Europe and Central Asia.

Over $2.5 million was put into real estate investments by Bayrock Group while it was operating in the United States.

Bayrock Group has been absent from any real estate development projects in recent years.

Tevfik Alif has retired most of his work in Bayrock Group. He continues to be a valuable and trusted advisor to the Bayrock Group.
