Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President, attended today's special boarding school No12, Khazar District, and the summer camp for orphanages No1 located in the Shuvalan Settlement. The two visited also the Narimanov District psycho-neurological orphanage and the Downs Syndrome Association.

Arzu Aliyeva Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva were informed that the facility has been teaching children with disabilities since the year 1969.
The facility was renovated on the initiative of First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in the year 2010.
The boarding schools can accommodate up to 140 students aged between 6 and 14 years old.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva talked to the children before making their gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The hospital is home to the services of 103 children, supported by a staff of approximately 90 medical experts.

It was told that the facility could house up to 96 children and hopes to assist them in integrating into society.
