Apple Arcade Finally Releases Fantasian and Wonderbox

Apple Arcade had a big Friday. The gaming service, which costs $5 per month, released Fantasian -- the new RPG by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and Mistwalker -and Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker from Aquiris. Both games were unveiled during Apple Arcade's September 2019 launch. The platform also included NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition. In addition, the service unveiled another 30 titles, available now.



Both Wonderbox and Fantasian launched in selected countries just before reaching the US for Apple Arcade subscribers. Sakaguchi tweeted that Fantasian shares its launch date with Final Fantasy VI 27-years ago. Final Fantasy VI was an inspiration for Fantasian, Sakaguchi told CNET.



Sakaguchi, one of the most famous characters in the Fantasian RPG, has kept fans well-fed throughout the years by posting updates on the development of Fantasian, screenshots and concept artwork on his social media pages. Sakaguchi, Mistwalker started hints in January that the new mobile RPG was coming out this year.

The story of Fantasian centers on Leo the protagonist, a young man who lost his memory due to an explosion in a hybrid magic-tech factory. Extrema.org After awakening in an environment that is dominated by machines, Leo sets out on the search for his missing father , with just one clue: A recurring vision of an innocent woman. When Leo arrives in En, an old frontier town that is dusty and meets Kina -the woman in his fantasy.



The duo embark on an adventure to reclaim Leo's memories and discover their destiny. As Leo's past unravels as well as other mysteries revealed in this multi-dimensional adventure the balance between chaos and order becomes harder to maintain.



Fantasian features more than 150 hand-crafted dioramas, which make up the game's world. It also has a stunning soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu, a famous Final Fantasy composer.



Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker Brazilian game studio Aquiris' Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker -- formerly known as Box Project -- also joined Apple Arcade's extensive game catalog on Friday. Wonderbox is an 3D adventure game that lets you explore a nearly endless world via "boxes" and portals. If you're a fan of Minecraft or Monument Valley, this is definitely a game to check out.



The controls are easy to pick up with simple tapping and swipe mechanics. You will immediately encounter the village matriarch who wants you to find the Heart of Adventure in order to restore the landscape. As you go through portals and visit various boxes -- think floating islands, you can swipe on the screen to rotate the area, manipulate your view angle, and fully explore.



Wonderbox lets you play in campaigns that unlock an adventure for gamers as well as a discovery mode that lets you search for an adventure, and multiplayer which lets you organize or join a group with up to four players. Lastly, you can choose Create and create your own adventure. You can add more adventures to the game.



This exciting adventure game lets you to defeat enemies, make coins, and solve puzzles. You can also build new environments.
