It's always awe-inspiring to see an awesome Minecraft creation. While Minecraft isn't a game about inheriting some bizarre shape-shifting weapon or battling evil fridges, it does give a very narrow description of Control. This is a great comparison, as we're looking at this stunning Control-inspired Minecraft build.
Reddit user Ominous_Hippopotamus, which happens to be our favorite handle, posted an image of a hardcore base they've been building that was inspired by The Oldest House from Control. The Oldest House is a strange and beautiful place, brimming with bizarre trinkets, weapons and beings from other realms. The entire area can best be described as a bit spooky. Ominous Hippopotamus captured the entire scene in a short video.
Although we only get a small glimpse of the base, it is incredibly accurate. The open atrium with the friendly plant life greets the player to begin with, but upon turning into a corner, the video displays an unsettling geometry that is jutting out and twisting space itself.
It's just a stellar recreation of the location and, even though it's unlikely to feature the Hiss floating around and creating chaos, it's a solid reminder of how much love and attention is put into the structures you can encounter in Minecraft. It's clear that a lot of effort and time was spent to make it feel authentic. The lighting is particularly attractive.
It's the same focus on details that makes players create things like the Ghostbusters theme song from Redstone or constructing data packs that let you play around with Breath of the Wild abilities. yourbestbet We're not sure if it's the same love that turns bees into Steve.
