Pros: Able to tax and create revenue for any government action
More united under one body
Able to form a militia
Cons: Possibility of Tyranny

Pros: Less chance of Tyranny and oppression
More power towards individual governments
Cons: Can not form militia so they cant suppress

Thesis: A strong central government would protect individual rights better than a weak central government because it can implement stronger policies that protect individual rights across the nation.

AOC was weak because of the reaction to an overbearing and oppressive government. One side creates a new government to fix Aoc problems while the other just wanted to fix the AOC. Anti-federalists vs Federalists. Believed state governments would be responsive to the need of constituents. Feared national government would take over the state's power. AF feared supreme courts and the president having a large, standing army. AF wanted a Bill of Rights (never protected you from state governments) added to the constitution Also wanted more restrictions on government power and elimination of the ability to tax.
