Ash: Do you have a favourite speedrun category?
Illumina: I enjoy running the Diversity 2 mod, and in general I love custom map speedruns. Probably because it's a nice change of pace from the randomness of the unmodified Minecraft categories. The categories that aren't modified are, however, unique in their own right. My favorite is random seed glitchless for sure. It's a lot of enjoyable to think of on-the-fly routes, even if the luck can be super brutal at times.
Ash: You hold an unmodified world record for unmodded runs, don't you?
Illumina: Yes, I have the world record for random seed glitched at any. The categories that are glitched are less well-known and that's understandable since the game can become quite broken. I prefer glitchless because it just feels like the classic Minecraft I love.
Ash: Do you have a favorite glitch you like to do?
Illumina: Probably dragon skips because it's extremely simple to accomplish. Mclijst The final crystal is placed immediately after the dragon appears. It's simple and skips the slower newer dragon battles (1.9+).
