A 19-year-old was caught making bomb threats to schools in a number of cities, which led to more than 400 of them being evacuated.
George Duke-Cohan of Watford also sent out mass emails to schools in the UK and US saying pipe bombs were planted on their premises while being investigated.
Yesterday, he was convicted of making bomb threats against thousands of schools and a United Airlines flight from the UK to San Francisco.
He was arrested in his bedroom in his family home in Watford.

Today's audio features George Duke-Cohan, pretending to be a concerned father whose daughter told him that her flight was hijacked and that one of the gunmen carried a bomb.
He can be heard muttering and feigning frustration at not receiving an update on the hijacking.
The teenager from Hertfordshire has pleaded guilty to three times to hoax-bomb threats.

Hundreds of UK schools were evacuated after threats in March, with Duke-Cohan being arrested days after the hoax that claimed to be a mass hysteriac.
However, while being investigated in April, he claimed that bombs were placed at both American and British schools.
The fake bomb threats were discovered at the time to be part of an ongoing Minecraft gamer dispute.
The emails that were sent out to the public were faked to appear as if they had been sent by a gaming network known as VeltPvP - the name of a Minecraft player-versus-player server.
Schools across the UK received up to 24,000 emails, which includes those in London, Bristol, and Humberside.
While on bail in connection with threats made to schools, Duke-Cohan phoned San Francisco Airport and their police officers to say an explosive was aboard.
Hacker group Apophis Squad claimed that flight UAL 949 was grounded as a result of their actions in a tweet in August.
Duke-Cohan claimed to be a worried father when calling the airport. He claimed that his daughter was on the flight.
Staff were informed by him that his daughter had contacted him to inform him that gunmen had hijacked the plane and that one contained bombs.
