Iron Golems are one of the most intriguing aspects of Minecraft, especially because you can design them by yourself. As we all know, the power to create life can make you god, and that kind of power is just plain enjoyable. There are many responsibilities that come with this, but the important aspect to keep in mind is that you can create life from a handful of blocks and the root vegetable.



The good news is that this shouldn't be a burden on your conscience for too much. Minecraft Iron Golems are a ferocious creature that are incredibly strong, surprisingly gentle, and even beneficial for the environment. Additionally, you can find Iron Golems in pillager outposts. They are trapped by pillagers and are usually located in cages. The good news is that you can get them out of them, and they'll assist you take care of the pillagers in the area which makes them extremely powerful allies.



What is an Minecraft Iron Golem and how do you use it?



An Iron Golem can be described as a neutral mob that serves a vital function. These incredible creatures are designed to guard the village, but they can also defend you in other situations. They're also extremely friendly and generous, often providing poppies to villager that they can create with their hands.

Iron Golem farm



Want to farm iron from gentle giants? We'll not judge you. There are many ways to go about it, but this is the way we do it.



You will need to create a killing pit filled with lavaand water streams flowing towards it. You'll need to construct your basic Minecraft village over the pit to prevent it from being destroyed. This can be as simple as having a handful of floating beds, some cauldrons and a few blocks surrounding them to prevent them from falling over or escaping. There must be a threat, like zombies and so throw one in the composter or cauldron and place it in a spot where that the villagers are able to see it for the majority of the time. You need at least one villager to be panicked, but you also need your villagers be capable of sleeping and working which is why positioning them can be a challenge. This is simpler for a village that doesn't have to work.

To keep your strange suspended village from getting illuminated by the sun, you will require a huge roof. Also, make sure your Iron Golem doesn't spawn in your village. Instead it will appear close to the pit. This is done by ensuring that your surfaces do not meet the requirements for the Iron Golem's spawning: buttons that are placed on top, hollow blocks or blocks that have no submerged area are all acceptable.
