Why Survival Island for Minecraft was the most Enjoyable Experience I've had in a Long Time

I have been playing different games for quite a while and I've personally started to get a little bit bored of the same old games. run in, kill stuff and then run out, or die.

I was recently seeking out a different way to play and decided to give Minecraft a go. I had heard a lot of positive reviews about the sandbox-style gameplay in Minecraft and it made me feel positive that it would make a great alternative to my gaming.



So I downloaded Minecraft and initially though... oh my god, what have I done. While the graphics aren't bad, they are close. And before I knew it, I was playing for hours, and was completely enjoying the game. Minecraft really grabbed me and made me want to play more and more.



I eventually began looking for more challenging challenges in Minecraft to continue enjoying it. Some of the projects made me realize that there was a lot more to it than I initially thought.



I stumped across the Survival Island Minecraft map. This was exactly what I was looking for, particularly since I am a big fan of castaway. So I eagerly installed the map and got loading up Minecraft I was thrilled.



After loading into Minecraft and then the map I though, how the hell am I going to survive? I suppose that is the point.



From what I can recall the island is made up of a tiny sandy base as well as some dirt and a tree. I felt a certain amount of anxiety that I did never experienced before in Minecraft All I could think about was "I must be able to survive."



After a few more hours of gaming, I was completely in the Minecraft Survival Island way. I had underground tree farms and automated cactus farms bonemeal to make seeds, and lots of other things going on I felt great.



Then, all of a sudden, disaster struck! I mined in a wrong direction and let water seep into my underground cavern.



I quickly plugged the leak with dirt and then blocked it a bit more with dirt to ensure that I didn't make that same mistake again.



I strongly suggest playing the Minecraft Survival Island map as it gives a real edge of excitement that you can't get from playing normally. It makes you feel a little nervous and scared about what's to come.
