About This Quiz Defined by The New Yorker as a cross between Minecraft and the Hunger Games, this video game is insanely popular among teens, children, tweens and beyond. In the brief time period between its launch in September 2017 and November 2018, the epic battle game attracted 200 million players worldwide. Of these, 78.3 million are active players. Are you unsure about the significance? If you're a fan of games, consider the number of games in your collection that are hidden under a thick layer of dust.
It's not just children in their basements with their parents playing, either. Athletes and celebrities are obsessed with the sport. Drake was one of the first to break the record for non-tournament Twitch viewers and broke the record with Ninja. Ninja had 635,000 concurrent viewers on their live streaming stream. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, Los Angeles Lakers basketball phenom Josh Hart and many pro baseball players are regular participants in the worldwide phenomenon. Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron even incorporates the game into a celebration dance.
Fortnite is not all sunshine and roses. Fortnite has been criticized for its use of dance moves and is currently suing to determine whether copyright laws have been infringed. Fortnite has grown so big (or out of control depending on your perspective) that parents are hiring coaches to help their children achieve success in the virtual world. So, how know are you about this global phenomenon? This test will help you find out what Fortnite is all about.

Nothing, it's completely free
Part of the genius of Fortnite Battle Royale is that it's completely free to download to any gaming system you're using. Purchases can be made in the game for V-Bucks, which are then used to purchase skins, pickaxes and gliders, battle passes, and more. Fortnite Save the World is an entirely different version of the game which players have to buy. However, the game's creator Epic Games says it'll become free to play in the year 2018.
shopping cart
You're correct, a standard shopping trolley is an automobile in Fortnite terms. The golf cart is the only other vehicle currently available. Why is this? Epic Games expressed concern about how adding more vehicles to the game could affect the overall flow.
Season 4 saw the destruction of Dusty Depot by an enormous meteor, effectively turning it into Dusty Divot. Additionally, all locations in the game use alliteration in their names - Loot Lake, Greasy Grove, and others.
50 Vs 50
Playground
Epic Games determines the time limits for LTM modes. Playground mode allows four friends to practice the skills they'll need in the game. Players may be killed in Playground mode, however they are able to respawn in a flash unlike the normal game mode.
These pinatas are also referred as "loot-llamas" and spawn automatically in the game (only three locations in Battle Royale and 100 in Playground mode). They contain 200 different materials from all resources such as brick, wood, and even metal. They also have potions, explosives, and other useful items.
All of Fortnite's many weapons are classified according to how rare they are to find in the game, and also have a descriptive name. In order of least to most rare they are: Gray/Common Blue/Rare, Green/Uncommon Gold/Legendary, and Purple/Epic.
Also known as "dance emoticons" in the game, players are able to boogie down anytime in the battlefield or lobby. In addition to "Fresh," which is based off "The Carlton", gamers can also opt to perform choreography such as "The Worm," Take the L" or "Disco Fever," which are all based on John Travolta’s famous "Saturday Night Fever" moves.
Katy Perry
Alfonso Ribeiro
The backpack kid
If you've never seen anyone floss, your eyes simply haven't been open. The dance was created by a teenager YouTube sensation in the year 2016, well before Fortnite was launched. PERSIANCATRESCUE.COM He was known as "the backpack boy" and later performed the strangely hypnotic move on Saturday Night Live with Katy Perry. Fortnite added the dance to its dance emotes and it made quite an impression.
