With all the updates, versions built, mods, and versions it's hard for us to comprehend how far Minecraft has been able to go. While the full game was released in 2011, it was still available in Early Access since 2009. It's easy to forget just how much has come and gone over the course of that time, especially if you've not actually played it since it first hit the world. Thankfully, this trailer gives a beautiful insight into all that's changed.
This is a fan-created recreation of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted their updated version of Mojang's first big tease and it's fun to watch, especially when you compare it with the original. It follows the same format as the official version, but shows all of the latest features biomes, features, and other elements that have been added to the game in the last decade.

It does a better job of promoting the game due to of the new content. Also, as user LennyTheSpider points out, RedAdventurer11 actually made a point of representing the big updates in order. Minecraft servers list The segment runs for about 58 seconds , and includes ice spikes that begin at 1.7 and ocean monuments beginning at 1.8, and end-of-the-city fights beginning at 1.9.
It's a wonderful little detail that helps to create a sense progression and time into the video itself. It's not something RedAdventurer11 expected people to be aware of, however, the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. This re-energized trailer is a great bit of nostalgia, and it's impossible not to smile watching it.
