Poker Strategy - Why Not To Call By Default
Finally, forget about bluffing! We spoke at the top of the page about keeping things simple... and nothing underlines this point more than bluffing. As much as I love the feeling of bluffing an opponent out of a huge pot, you just can't do this while you're playing against fish.

Be decisive in your betting. No one likes to wait as you hesitate with your bet. Betting quickly also gives your opponents less time to read your habits.

When 5 players double their buy in and 5 get nothing, your only goal is to outlast 5 other players. Surviving is the key to making money and you will make the money an above average amount of time playing TAG. There may even be times when you make the money without ever playing a hand.

A "Squeezing" bet is used to limit your opponents pot odds in a short-on the level* game. You use this bet when you have a strong hand and you've put your opponent on some kind of write. The odds are they will not hit their draw so you place a bet and form them pay to chase after their draw. This way you'll be good to accrual the size of the pot or they will fold to you as they do not long to risk chasing the draw.

In the late game, you have no choice but to bet subpar hands. The blinds won't allow you to sit and wait for good hands. In the late game, it becomes more about picking the right hands to go aggressive on.
