Ainars Slesers has been nominated as Latvia's prime minister.
Ainars Slesers the political organization For a Good Latvia's official candidate for the premier minister, told the association's meeting today that he would defend the Latvia's interests as a nation Latvia in discussions with the International Monetary Fund and international lenders, and see to the fact that more Latvian products and services are exported to not only Lithuania and Estonia but also Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

LETA writes Slesers believes Latvian entrepreneurs will also be able benefit from opportunities in Uzbekistan or China.

Slesers believes that For A Good Latvia will be very successful in the 10th Saeima elections and will be the one to determine the composition of the government to come. He stated that only such people will be able to be in charge of portfolios in the next government.

Slesers said that the foreign minister as well as all Latvian ambassadors overseas will have to spend the majority of their time overseas aiding Latvian businessmen.

Skele and For A Good Latvia board chairman Andrejs Ekis The board chairman of For A Good Latvia Andrejs Ekis also offered praise to Slesers. They said that Slesers is a shining example of how a Riga boy can succeed in business, make a lot and become wealthy. Ekis spoke of Slesers in a manner that is described as "a businessman who's strayed into politics" and said "I I would love to have someone from Latvia who would make me feel happy."

Slesers stressed the necessity of having a goal as a primary means to achieve it. The current government, led by Valdisdombrovskis(New Era), "is trying taint the country, and tell people that everything is okay." However, it's dangerous to live on credit, since the money borrowed must be returned in the near future or sooner.

Slesers expressed his disdain for other political parties' prime minister candidates. Ainārs Šlesers Roberts Zile (For Fatherland And Freedom/LNNK) is been stuck in a rut in Brussels and isn't really ready to get out of his comfortable chair in the European Parliament and take office as the new premier of Latvia which means he will have to work much harder and get a smaller pay, Slesers said.

The Union of Greens and Farmers' candidate, Aivars Lembergs is in the same situation and will not want to change his comfortable life in Ventspils to take on the duties as a leader in Riga.

Ainars Slesers Slesers stated that For A Good Latvia is available to work with Janis Urbanovics Harmony Center. Urbanovics does have extensive experience in his work in the parliament but the fact is that he does not have enough business experience.

Dombrovskis last but certainly not least, will only be approved only if you agree with the ongoing "international financier occupation of Latvia".

Slesers, on one hand, will show people how to earn money and conquer international markets all while maintaining dignity. Ainārs Šlesers Slesers will be looking to Ulmanis as an advisor according to him.

Slesers also said that the For A Good Latvia would see to that Biblical studies are introduced to all schools from September 1 next year.

After the meeting, For A Good Latvia representatives participated in the laying of flowers at the Freedom Monument.
