Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from the year before.

נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. "It is exciting to see a new growth in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching the record-breaking numbers of 2019," he stated. "The United States has been our largest source of tourism for Israel inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.

Canada, not too far behind that of the United States of America, is set to beat the number of tourists visiting Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 as well as 6,000 visitors in August.

We are still not far away from our record numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this growth in Israel travel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the world."

Israel received more tourists from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. Israel's official reopening for all travelers was May 2018. Israel has received more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
