Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism The numbers come from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% growth over 2019.

Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we were celebrating record numbers of Israel's tourism entry every month.

Canada which isn't too far from the United States of America, is on track for surpassing its tourist arrivals to Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in August.

Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada for Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism stated that it was exciting to see tourism from Canada to Israel rebounding. "We aren't far off our record for 2019 and we expect that the growth in travels to Israel will continue to grow because Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the globe."

נווה פריצקי Israel received more visitors from around the world in 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were Americans. Israel's official reopening for all tourists was in May of 2018. Israel has been home to over 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
