NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of visitors from America. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since its official reopening to all travelers regardless of the status of their vaccination in May this year, the country has already witnessed more than 600,400 US tourists.
