Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. "It is thrilling to see a new increase in tourism Israel from the United States. Already reaching the record-breaking numbers of the year 2019," he stated. "The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 outbreak there was a record-breaking number of tourist entry numbers every month. We are thrilled to witness this change and anticipate an upward trend that will continue for months and even years.

Canada is set to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
