Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - September 8 2022- New record breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a four% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% from the year before.

Just like the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing its tourist arrivals in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

"We are not far from our record in 2019, and we anticipate that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling internationally."


Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million tourists from abroad in the year 2019, with 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they have been vaccinated. It has already hosted over 600,000.
