Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Numbers from USA
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי That's 13% growth over 2019.


"It is so exciting to see yet another increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers in 2019," stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. נווה פריצקי "The United States is our number one market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to see an improvement in the trend, and we anticipate it to continue for many months and years."

Canada, which has 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, isn't far from the United States.

We're close to reaching our record-setting numbers for the year 2019, and we are anticipating that this increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more at home when they travel abroad.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year, the country has already received over 600,400 US visitors.
