There's a staggering number of mobs that can be found in Minecraft as of 1.18 It's best to be aware of as many of them as you can in order to ensure that you manage each one in a responsible manner.
Below is the complete list of Minecraft mobs and animals, ranging from the simple Chicken to legendary monsters like the Ender Dragon and mobs that are coming up like Frogs, Allays, and the Warden, all of which are due in Minecraft 1.19.
List of Minecraft mobs
Minecraft has progressed a lot since it first came into existence in the early 2010s. There are now 73 mobs in Minecraft and there are more to come in Minecraft 1.19. Each mob behaves and looks very different from the others. Below is a list of each mob in the game. They are classified based on their attitude towards the player.
Passive mobs are groups of people who do not attack a player, even if the player attacks them first. Most of these mobs are harmless animals that run away if attacked, or even confronted in certain cases. Below is a complete list of all Passive mobs. Minecraft boss mobs
There are currently two "boss mobs" in Minecraft. These are powerful mobs which have their own health bars and are currently the most dangerous enemies in Minecraft with the exception of, of course, the players you'll encounter on PvP Minecraft servers.
- Ender Dragon Wither
You'll need to be prepared to defend yourself from Minecraft numerous mobs, whether you're facing Endermen or Guardians or other dangerous animals like Polar Bears. Make sure you have the right equipment. Check out our guides on Netherite and Diamonds to help you find these. Also, visit our guide on how to create potions that will boost your combat skills. You can also add more creatures to Minecraft's world by examining our list of Minecraft mods, or altering the appearance of existing mods by using the most effective Minecraft texture pack.
